Reciprocating Air Compressors

Most commonly utilized for intermittent flow requirements at higher pressures, reciprocating compressors or piston compressors utilize a piston driven by a crankshaft to compress air. Offered in a wide array of designs for numerous applications, reciprocating compressors are available in single-stage or multistage designs for higher pressure applications and are available in splash lubricated, pressure-lubricated or non-lubricated designs.

Often a lower initial capital investment than their rotary screw counterparts, reciprocating compressors can be simple to maintain, have better efficiencies at lower volumes, and are available in various tank-mounted configurations making them ideal for smaller shops with intermittent air requirements. Let our team of industry experts guide you toward the right product to fit your specific needs.
